Before starting a new job next week I wanted to make a trip to a 500 yd range about 40 miles from my house. The wind lately has been horrible but was relatively calm yesterday.
I was shooting my Tikka Super Varmint 6.5 PRC and CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. All shooting was done off bags and a bench.
Both rifles gave me sub-MOA groups in the 4 inch variety but the star of the show was the PRC with 147 ELD-Ms pushed by H4831. The group size is kinda hard to see in the picture but it's 2.760. The load averaged 2782, ES 17, SD 7.
In any rifle I've shot them through, the 147s have consistently been very accurate and my family has killed a bunch of deer with them.
