So far, for me, BTE has worked very well. I don't have to use it often, but when I wanna get the copper out, it works fast and without too much trouble. I have slowed down the amount of bore cleaning I do recently, and haven't noted any accuracy drop off.

I do clean them out thouroughly with BTE and IOSSO when I wanna take it back to metal though. Pretty big fan of the stuff.

Does BTE have the same chemistry of Hoppes Elite? I just started using Kroil a couple weeks ago followed by shooters choice copper remover and then the hoppes.

I just used that Barnes CR-10 on a couple of badly copper fouled barrels. It seemed to work better than Sweet's but did not stink quite as bad. Still stunk some though. :roll: Tried to fine BTE at Sportsman's but they had none. Didn'y have time to hit some of the other gun shops.
