Being a former educator I believe this will take some time to go into effect. It shows why he and his party lost, he didn't listen to the people. The people want cheaper prices and to be safer. Biden only cares about finishing his party's agenda at the expense of the citizens. Why do you think the rep from the USVI stood up and spoke about being non voting members. They are working every angle to gain the system because their policies/ideologies/practices suck for the average person. If we can clean up the education system I think the democrats will be in for some rough roads ahead. Dumbing down the populace makes it easier to control/manipulate them. Their problem is legacy media no longer controls the information. TikTok and podcast is where people get their info and Trump, with the help of his son, knew that and took advantage of it to get around the lying media.
Jimmy must have been drinking too much Billy Beer when he made that decision.Yep
Thank Jimmy Carter for Dept of Ed and the dumbing down of America.
School choice is a great start to allow people to get the kids away from the crazies. Most catholic or christian schools aren't filled with nut job teachers. Just like legacy media legacy schools (ie public schools ) are underperforming and full of those liberal women. Another thing that could be applied is performance standards for teachers with penalties and termination for sub standard performance. Teachers are like most federal government workers, too hard to get rid of for screwing up at their job.Being a former educator I believe this will take some time to go into effect.
When I retired the majority of my colleagues were female and liberal. I remember when DJT was elected the first term, some of them were losing their minds.
The education system didn’t go bad over night, it took a long while to get to where it is now. The dept of education was created in 1979(?). I believe that is when the degradation of education began.
Will it take 45 years to get better? Hopefully not, but it’s not going to be a quick fix as some (a lot) will still have the ability to influence, and have very liberal views.
Some very good points!School choice is a great start to allow people to get the kids away from the crazies. Most catholic or christian schools aren't filled with nut job teachers. There are good and bad teachers private and public schools. Attitude of the students starts at home. The family unit has been attacked and being destroyed. Dan.Some very good points!
In my experience, while I was teaching, most catholic or Christian schools were being taught by teachers, most who were not able to get a job in a public school, and some were the nut jobs!
I used to disagree with school choice, but have since changed my mind and have encouraged parents I know to home school if they can reasonably do so. This all because of the ridiculous garbage being instilled in kids nowadays.
At least in NY they have applied performance standards on teachers along with the penalties and such.
Teachers get the majority of the blame. The thing that most don’t get is that the administration is largely to blame.
School boards are largely to blame, state ed departments are largely to blame.
Teachers are mostly the foot soldiers, who are told what to do.
As a teacher I always felt that I didn’t need (or really want) my students to know if I was conservative or liberal.
I wanted to have the opportunity to decide themselves.
Nowadays in some classroom if you’re a conservative you may not have an opportunity to pass the class….
While there certainly are good and bad teachers, it is indeed the higher ups that are responsible for the bigger picture. They are the ones that keep the ship headed toward the iceberg, not the teachers. I had a neighbor in her 40s go back to school in order to become a teacher. She is such a sweet lady who cares about her students but she seemed to be constantly harrassed by different school boards throughout her career over one thing or another. I hated to hear about it. I have also run into quite a few good teachers lately who have changed profession because they stopped feeling like they were actually able to do their students any good.Teachers get the majority of the blame. The thing that most don’t get is that the administration is largely to blame.
