Scotty, Tom, Charles, Sean and April

We just received word that the bullet's we promised you fellows have cleared U.S. customs and have arrived at our company in the States. They will ship out to each of you on Monday, probably two day UPS.

Scotty, 270, 7MM, 338
Tom, 270. 308. 358
Charles 338, 9.3
Sean 308, 375
April --her son is hunting the coastal brown bear in Alaska this year and wanted some for his 45/70

Scotty,

Jerry and I drove North one day and visited with the fellow that has some of the BBC's. Jerry offered him 250 dollar's per sack and we could not get him to budge. He has a nice collection of rifles and bullet's that he is saving for his grandchildren.

While I was there we did shoot together and although I am fairly sure I shot a few BBC's with my father, I can not be certain. So, I looked at them very carefully, I watched him shoot a few, he allowed me to shoot a few, so now, without a shadow of a doubt I can say I have seen them, I have seen someone shoot them, and I have shot them myself. So having accomplished that if I can now find someone who has refurbished a Studebaker or Edsel and they will let me drive it I can die a happy woman.

We will keep looking for you Scotty

Our oldest daughter handled this for you fellows and she also included reloading information in each package. She said we had a pretty good stock on hand, so if you fellows want to try a different caliber or bullet weight please let us know.

Look, Aleena, I can see you supplying bullets for Tom, Charles and Sean; but Scotty? That guy just wastes them whenever he has them. I mean, all he does is shoot, shoot, shoot. Now, sending these to an old curmudgeon like me... well, they could remain on my reloading bench for days to be savoured and anticipated. Bullets to Scotty? That just doesn't make sense.

Seriously, Aleena, hope you find that refurbished Studebaker. Always thought the Golden Hawk was a lovely automobile; but I really wanted to own an Avanti.

DR Mike

LMAO------but true!

why is it that only Tom and I understand what a fine caliber the 30-06 is

Aleena---thank you. I have never used them but have always wanted to do so and now we will

Fotis, I dont think Aleena will be back, at least not today, because of a personal issue her family is dealing with.

The short answer is Rhino

On day at LEL, Aleena was explaining to Tom and Scotty how their "Solid Shank core bonded bullets" work on African game and they both simply said they wish they could try some. And now they have some to play with. I am not sure how I was fortunate enough to get some but I know Aleena is a big fan of the 9.3's and Charles just finished a custom 9.3 and I am sure that is why he got some. Rhino also makes a "Penetrator" Bullet, but I think we all got the Solid Shank type this time around

Thank you A (and J, and family!). Looking forward to giving them a go. Can't wait to be honest.

Very cool about finding some of the BBC's. The ones I have are being set aside and used for hunting.

Wow, that is awesome.

A&J,

Prayers sent your way.

Now that is funny, right there!

Rhino makes excellent bullets and have a very nice client base in Africa. The gentlemen receiving these bullets will be pleasantly surprised at the expansion and weight retention.

In Scotty's case, any new bullet that he has not used before, is like Christmas morning to him

A-

Many thanks for the efforts in sending these. I will do my best to shoot them well and kill some stuff with them! (Besides milk jugs!)

Ha! Love to see new bullets!

Yup, like I said, killing those milk bottles. The milk producers of Virginia voted you top salesman of the year. I'm tellin' ya', Scotty m'boy, ya' need to savour those bullets, letting them age like fine wine on your reloading bench.

I'm hoping my 270 isn't too terribly finicky. As well as it's shooting BT's, if it'll shoot Rhino's close to that, I'll hunt with them in the 270. Or the Whelen. Or the 300WSM....or....

:)

Yeah, if they shoot decent they could get some hunting time this Fall. Excited to see what they will do.

Decisions! Decisions! Decisions! Tough choices, Tom.

I know....

I am daring to hope that all my rifles will be in huntable condition this fall. That's never happened at one time before....

I have a few questions

what is a Stubebaker
what is an Edsel
what does A have against Canadians. Having a home in the UK should align her more with us than them
why did you, sask boy, gerry and I get skunked on this deal. We all live in white and brown bear country, where good bullets are actually needed and used. Those puny little whitetails in VA and Pa could be hunted with a good horse and a lariat.

Now that's not nice mocking our Fine Herd of White tail though I live between VA and PA. I have seen some nice deer in both those states in my travels oh ya and both have some nice size black bears and MD also.

Bang on, Cheyenne! You tell 'em. What do those young Marines need more bullets for? Or for that matter, what do those yahoos down in PA need with good bullets? Yeah, I feel slighted! Those tiny little VA whitetails could be killed with a big stick.

Uh, Studebaker and Edsel were a little before your time. Don't like to speak of such ancient matters. These were kinda' like the Mossberg rifles of the automotive world.

Heck ya!!! A good calf roping horse will work just fine just make sure you pitch the slack and jerk em over backwards hopefully knocking the wind outta them or snapping a neck and you better be quick dismounting and have a sharp knife!! If you don't I could see it getting hairy in a hurry! Getting close enough wouldn't be an issue!

You must be thinking of the Sika deer that were imported to the VA and MD eastern shore,
I would have liked to have seen you try to put a rope on this one when he was a live. Nine point with Seven inch Brow tines. He made Boone & Crockett when the mount was green.
