Colt 45 Carry Gun

Oldest son has a pretty classy carry gun. I don't see it often, so I whipped out the phone-camera when the chance arose today. Colt Officers Model 45 ACP, a 1911 with the barrel shortened to about 3.5" from the factory. Bit of a handful to shoot, but this one is all steel. Carries great in that Galco holster.

I may have had something to do with him having this. :grin:

Nice. I had one of those for awhile but found the Commander size more my cup of tea. Personal preference, the OM functioned just fine.

I sometimes carry a clone of the Colt especially when horseback or on the quad.
