Donor Action

Looking for a donor action for a 7mm Rem Mag barrel I have. The barrel is stainless matte finish but the action can be any, I dont care. It is a Winchester barrel, so I need any of the following actions: Mauser, Winchester, Ruger, Springfield, Enfield 1917, etc. with a claw extractor system as push feed bolts would require too much alteration to the barrel to work.

Just need the action! I plan to put this one together as the old Johnny Cash song goes..."one piece at a time."

Not looking to pay more than 200 dollars or so as I can just buy a new gun for the 400-600 dollars many people get for Mauser actions in particular.

Lol what year is the barrel? If I put a new trigger in my M-77 that's a start!!!

Not sure of the year, bought it off of gunbroker. Its a New Haven barrel and its Controlled Round Feed so I am going to say its around 1995!?! Yeah the m77 action would be a good start. I have almost decided to sell the barrel though for lack of being able to find a suitable donor action and I could use the money.

Yeah an 82 trigger find an 43 M98 action, a 2010 safety an 93 magazine you will be well on your way to the 57-71 cadillac

Thats true. But like I said, I am just about to give up on the project and do something different. That 43 M98 action alone has been looking to cost 400-500 dollars. I could just buy an over the counter 7mm Rem Mag for that price. Granted I know customs are going to be more expensive but I am just not in a position to spend that kind of dough right now.

Yep I understand that. I need to find myself about 4 donor actions for a few I want to build.

Check out Sarco. They have a variety of mauser actions including FN commercial, Carl Gustav and Husqvarna and various German or Czech made Gew 98 large ring actions for a reasonable price.
