This is a Mark V Lazerark in 378 WBY.
It now sports a top of the line Krieger barrel. Action was blueprinted completely. Pillar bedded steel bedded and free-floated. Williams proprietary brake added. Recoil is like a 270 Win according to Williams. Shot with factory loads (Hornady 270 gr.) Average was .75"
Six months wait but worth it...I hope.
I will be breaking her in and then working up loads of

260 accubonds at 3150 fps.

250 TTSX at 3150-3200 fps

300 Cutting edge at 3100 fps.

I'm not a huge Weatherby or Lazermark fan, but that is a pretty sharp looking rig, and it should reach out there and touch something far, far away... hard. That new tube should stack them right on top of one another!

It should definitely toss a hunk of lead a good distance. Now those pesky speed goats haven't a prayer! Good looking rifle, Fotis.

Fotis,

She looks great buddy! I hope the workmanship and accuracy exceeds your expectations.
Looking forward to the range report.

Everything looks spectacular Jim.

I just can not wait to see what she does accuracy wise.

Very nice. Take lots of pictures and keep the grandparents involved.

grandparents ???????????? :?

She's still a great looking rifle - and should shoot very well now. I'm a big fan of Krieger barrels, but none of mine have had quite that big a bore...

That must be a custom brake from the smith? I use to do the small holes like that but man were they loud. Let us know how it is for noise too.

Chromoly barrel?

Fotis,

3/4 MOA with factory ammo from a new barrel is very impressive to say the least.
I am thinking your loads, with those accurate Nosler bullets, should put you at a 1/2 MOA rifle.
That would be almost unreal to have that kind of horse power with that level of accuracy.
If you hit the 1/2 MOA mark, you MUST shoot a sage rat with it and post pictures for all of us to see.
That wold make Rob grin big time.

6 months is a long time but it looks like it was worth it. A great shooter and beautiful to, a keeper. !!!!

Well here we go. Got this one in Shirley basin with my 416 Bee and 300 gr Barnes at 3125 fps. 225 yard shot.... Kind of tore him up.

Well, it does look as if it has enough "oomph" to take an antelope. Looks like it will indeed do!
