No one has had this brass in stock for years.

I see plenty of 9mm ammo. The local store has a limit of 5000 rounds per purchase at 18 cents a round. How come it's not worth it to make just rifle brass at close to $2 each? Who shoots all this 9mm ammo? I must belong to the wrong gun range.

And Nosler quit making 375 brass too apparently. Ammo is available but it costs more than eggs.

Customer service has disappeared.

If you're calling Hornady when they're closed....
It might still surprise me if someone wasn't on to take calls 24/7/365

I say that in jest but only just a tad.

Hornady has absolutely positively the best customer service in the industry.
Covid running rampant...they hired more people. I was never on hold more than 3 minutes with them. Covid era or otherwise.

Back to your problem...
That 375 ruger has succumbed to the too many catridge option problem. When material gets tight the slow items suffer. Sometimes even get the axe.

Hope is not lost....

Buy this...

Good luck

P.s.
Hornady does not suck.
They kept many o'shooter enjoying their hobby during the dark times.
They added work shifts and always had product of the shelf.

Same can't be said of Speer, Sierra, and our beloved, Nosler. They were all lousy...some still not great today.

Never forget how they got caught trying to force their employees to take the clot shots. They do indeed suck. They invented the 375 Ruger and should have the decency to still support it.

Personal experience with Hornady products. Loaded ammo I tried, 22-250, 300 WBY, 300WM...waste of money, popped primers...inconsistent
I also don't like their brass and only used their projectiles for cheap fun when suppiles were limited. Again, personal experience and preferences.

When I bought my first 375 Ruger rifle I was concerned that the cartridge might not catch on and that brass could be impossible to find. So ....... being a cautious guy, I bought enough brass to last the life of the barrel.
I'm told that you can still buy 375 Ruger brass on GB but you've really got to open your wallet. It's probably cheaper to buy ammo and save the brass.

Its not hard to make it from PRC brass...... Unless having the 375 headstamp is paramount.
The OP said brass and also mentioned factory loaded implying using the cases afterward.
They did complain of pricing of said loaded ammo so............🤷
So I refrained from suggesting forming their own.

But yes indeed there are many ways to skin a cat.

I gave the OP a specific GB listing to buy 50 new cases for $175

I'm getting into the 30 Kong world and $175 for 50 new pieces seems like a great deal to me 🤷

I posted about making it from 300 prc, got only maybes, (even asked Hornady, but again, no response). So has anyone done 300 prc to 375?

Found this on the Midwayusa site.

For those who may need some nonexistant 375 Ruger brass one can use this by just necking up with a FL 375 ruger sizer and using a starting load with the bullet seated to tuch the rifling. After this firing I find the over all case length to be a few thousands +/_ from trim length and the shoulder in proper position."

Since I haven't fireformed using this method of touching the lands, my question is how much pressure is needed to fill out the case? Could I use my cheap and plentiful gas checked cast bullets with a estimated PSI of 24,000? Or what would be ideal pressure? Looks like jacketed bullet starting loads in my Lyman manual show PSI at around 45,000.

The only .375s I play with are H&H and .375 Taylor. Taylor brass is easy to make. Just run then through a .375/338 Win. Mag die, load and shoot. I use .458 Win. Mag. as I get less case loss with them. They shoot just fine as is and no better after fire forming. (.375 Taylor, also .375 Chatfield Taylor also .375/338 Win. Mag) Does everything the .375 H&H does in a shorter length action.

This got me to thinking a bit and I checked out the dimensions of the .416 Ruger and with the exception of shoulder where it joins the neck and the width of the neck, it struck me that a quick run through the .375R sizing die would fix that dimension.

🤣🤣🤣
Ok?
They sent a letter out. Got blow back. Realized it was a stupid idea.
Sent a second memo out thinking better on the subject.
What's funny is you bringing up a Hornady mistake in a thread also involving Ruger....
Bill Ruger was the absolute king of "ANTI"________ and was very pro gun control.

That's not just funny but that's rich.

They invented the 375 Ruger and should have the decency to still support it.
They do "still support it"

Factory loaded ammo is on the ready at any number of vendors.

If you mean offering just new brass?
Well......if we crucified all companies for no longer offering just brass for their complete cartridge lineup in their history we will be a long time building crosses for many heavy hitters like Remington and Winchester.

I truly hope you accept my candor without offense.

We live in America and differing opinions and beliefs are welcome. Steve Hornady, Bill Ruger at one time, and you......
All enjoy that very right to think freely and make personal choices like company policy or where you'd like to spend your money.

I hope we always enjoy that.

Pretty crazy. Just checked with Midsouth Shooters Supply - I use them often.

375 Ruger brass not available
375 Flanged Magnum Nitro Express - available! How many of those are left running around being used?
375 H&H available
378 Weatherby available

I wonder if they're going to produce a run of the 375 Ruger you need later in 2025? That's actually been a pretty successful cartridge and gained a lot of popularity because of the availability of rifles from Ruger.

Cracked me up when I saw the 375 Flanged Magnum Nitro Express brass available... That's a rare bird...

I would band together and get some 300PRC/375Ruger blanks made by ADG or Peterson. You'd have to run through a .416 dies first but you'd get quality brass instead of cheap/weak Hornady. Or you just fireform 300PRC.

Same reason I'm holding onto my 300 SAUM brass like it's gold......somtimes the logistic tail doesn't support what they deveoped. Hopefully they'll do a run so people can stock up.

Well Cabela's has 300 PRC brass on sale, plus members pricing and free shipping so I ordered 50 for under $60. Will try sizing and fireforming.

The thing that pissed my off was getting no response from Hornady. A good supplier will at least be honest and say, nope not making it, or if so when.

I get the humor but think about what is going on there.

Hornady is indeed supporting the caliber by making loaded ammo for it.
Perhaps all the brass they have at this time is going into the loaded ammo just to fill orders of distributors/vendors.
Where have we seen that fish before?
We all love Nosler but you know they do the same thing(s). If they need to make something with a combination of components as in loaded ammo versus stand alone component...we know how that goes.
Things take priority in the business world and people study the data and make the decision accordingly...often times to the dismay of us.
You know...why can't they just make ______ because I want it!!!

I would imagine once they get caught up with orders and or have some extra material they will once again have plenty of that brass for sale.

In the mean time myself and a couple others have found some new brass for sale and posted the links in this thread.

I haven't seen any response from the OP regarding those so...???

I'm certainly not doubting what you say but I've been in touch with Hornady CS many times and I've never been ghosted.
On the contrary...the hold times are incredibly minimal and they are very thorough with answers or replacement parts at no cost.
I had a 366 loader question for them and they actually had the 366 specialist who works different hours there call me.
Again they've always been Johnny on the spot with me.

Maybe you will have better luck next time
