O.K. I have been bidding on those darn rifles at Bivwak all month. (thanks to that lovely advertisment above my head  ) I had a very small budget and just bid to try and luck up on a good deal. I was beat on some very nice rifles recently by not much but still above my budget.

Tonight I actually won a Tikka T3 Lite in 25-06 for $375!!! I still can not believe it.

Now to figure out what bullets to get and try to get this set up before rifle season. I needed a good flat shooting rifle for the whitetails.

Congratulations! Glad you won. One heck of a good deal too!

The 110 gr AB or 115 gr BT are great for long range. Pop and Remingtonman_25-06 have a lot of load data for you.

Post some pics when you get her home and let us know how she shoots.

Great rifle. Great whitetail cartridge. Congratulations. You done good.

You lucky dog!

Get some 110 Accubonds and rl 22. When you reach 3200 fps and 1/2" group....stop!!!!!

well I amnot a tikka fan but definitely a 25.06 fan u can really do a lot with the round u may want to try retumbo I hear it does well but the shorter tikka barrel may hinder your top end some

Tikkas savage and the more expensive sakos are the most accurate rifles out there. I love them all!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Tikka's and the 25-06 cartridge. Put a good leupold 3X9X40 or 3.5X10X40 on it and you have a sweet combo. I like 56grs of IMR4831 and a 100gr Nosler PAR or BT with a mag primer. That is a Ken Waters pet load. It is very accurate. Works great on pronghorns and should do the job on deer.

God and luck shines on the intrepid and it was meant to be. Ok so you were a little lucky too  Congratulations on a fine rifle.
Good Hunting

Thanks guys. Might be a bit before a range report or pics. I lost my camera during waterfowl season  and need to buy a new one. I also need to buy a new scope, dies, brass, bullets,

Picked her up on Saturday, she feels great in the hands. Love the feel of the action and the trigger.

Can't wait to shoot it.
