IMR 4166

Tyson that is some fine shooting . Your rifle looks to really like that powder. Where abouts in Saskatchewan are you from?

Blessings,
Dan

Looks good. What kind of speed are you getting?

Dan I'm from swift current. The 37.2gr was 3797 3 shot average with 12fps velocity string. The Hodgon load data says I should be compressed at 36.8gr which I wasn't nor was i compressed at the 37.2gr.This was once fired than full length sized brass so it did have greater volume.Im going to try and go a little higher cause there was no pressure signs but kind of think I will fall out of the node and not be able to get back into it before I hit max pressure. With that kind of accuracy I may just leave it.

Looks as if that is performing quite well for you. Congratulations.

Looks good. excellent shooting. I would say IMR 4166 is showing itself to be a very good powder.

That seems pretty good to me. If that sorta accuracy repeats I'd say you have a winner.

Good to see people trying out the new IMR powders. They really brought out the three burn rates most people could utilize for the majority of rifle cartridges.
