Anyone run any loads with this yet?
Picked up a couple pounds yesterday with the same lot #.
Have a 7 mag and 280 AI with known "good loads" and thought I'd compare this using them. Kind of a head to head.
Thought I'd run some 160 ABs in each and see what it does.
Any ideas?
When's the next QL update due and do you think it will have these Enduron powders?

I'm making up some loads with IMR 7977 at the present time. I hope to pull the trigger on them shortly. The Neconos web site is terrible. It is still listing the latest update for QuickLOAD as 12JAN2014. If the past is any indication, a new update should be released any day.

Thanks Dr Mike.
Figured you would be one of those experimenting a bit with it.
Agree on Neconos site. Not very helpful but it sure is great software.

which one will you use?

Decide that as I get nearer to making up the loads. From what I know of the burn rates, IMR4166 will likely get the first nod.

I have some 4166 loaded up to test in one of my 6 BRX's. As soon as we have a decent day it will be tested. Varget is what it will be tested against for both velocity and accuracy. There isn't any load data out there, so I will be starting with 6 BR mid-range loads.

I'd like to hear see some results from 7977.. Seems like it may be good in a few of my rifles.
