R26 Substitute powder!!

Of the other powders then rl 26, what ones are temp stable? I know rl22 is not

I'm fortunate enough to NOT deal with powders that are temp sensitive. I load for hot weather and rarely shoot in below freezing temps. I've looked at magpro also and have plenty on hand. In many cases magpro will have the velocity of many other powders when using QL. How it'll perform...................I don't know? Possible use in 6.5prc, 243win, and others that use magnum, 560, 7828ssc, h1000 and 22/25. When I get time (might be October before that happens) I'll try it in 6.5prc, 7saum and a few others.

I haven't used any 560 yet, but plans with 6.5prc, 7saum, 264wm, 300wm and maybe 243win. Not sure on 260rem and 6.5creed and might try some in 270win also.

I have a 1#er of 7977 bought to try in 264wm, but not in anything as of yet.

I used IMR 7977 in the 270 win. Used Hodgdon's data for 150 gr bullets with Ballistic Tips for a bit over 2900 fps and the 160 gr Partition at over 2800 fps. Might need a drop tube so it settles better for less compression. Loads were accurate.
