An old friend & retired officer came out to the range today to try his new .45 Kahr. He qualified with few problems. The pistol shot well. I tried it for a few rounds as well.
As might be expected, the lightweight pistol, only 19 ounces, had pretty stiff recoil from the 230 gr hardball rounds - but it shot well. I thoroughly enjoyed, and he's glad to have a concealment pistol that fires what he called a "man sized" cartridge so well.
After today's range session, I can say that if you're looking for an easy-to-conceal big bore semi auto, consider the Kahr:
