Marco Polo/Siberian Ibex

Fotis.

I had not used Nosler products, but had promised Scotty I would give them a try on this trip. I had considered different Nosler products and even heavier bullet weights as I knew that wind and distance would need to be considered. I was fortunate enough to eliminate the distance problem. Believe me 300 yards are close for these buggers . Jim, Scotty and a host of others on this forum all agreed that I use the 140 AB. jim gave me a recipe that worked perfectly and I thank him and everyone who helped me when I had originally ask for help. I did go back and look to see if you had made any suggestions for me to consider and did not find that you had.

For future reference, please let me know what you felt I should have used within the Nosler product line.

Everyone else who responded originally, thanks for the help and guidance and for all those who have sent their congratulations my way after the hunt --thank you, it is appreciated.

For sheep, the 140 AB is just about perfect. I wouldn't have an issue running them into elk out of any of the 7mm's. It is a tough bullet, with relatively high BC.. It sounds like a great hunt. My son is shooting the 140 BT's and AB's out of his 7mm Mauser. I wouldn't be surprised if he is going to carry it elk hunting soon.
