in the thread asking what's your favorite wild game , a lot of guys said moose . I've been eating moose all week , and finally thought to take a pic . it's a moose roast with potatoes , carrots , and onion . I put a packet of onion soup mix in and fill it with water . I slow cook it in a crockpot all day . I salt and pepper to taste, on my plate . it's very simple to make , and tasty . I'm no cook , and it always turns out great . sorry , I took the pic before I put some broth on .

Looks fantastic, but that’s just enough to get me hungry! 😋

I have a small piece of the roast yet . I'll have that at lunch today , in a sandwich .

I like potatoes and carrots cooked this way . I put them around any roast , and meatloaf too , but cook meatloaf in the oven .

the house smells great regardless of the type of meat . ;)

That smell of that roast cooking,, just going through your house is enough to put you down for the count.. nothing better. I’ve only had moose 3 times. and Elk 2 times.
I can’t deny that it would be a tough call for me, they both laid me back in my recliner, I envy you guys..
