Just curious on your experience.

I shoot a 6,5x57 R Mauser caliber in a K95 BLASER Single shot (1:8 twist) and so far I have tried several combinations for the best possible result in the hunting field.

NOSLER 100 grs. BT - Very accurate and flies well. Feels the wind over 200 yds. though +2
NOSLER 120 grs. BT - Not bad, but my rifle seems to like the 100 BT more +0
NOSLER 100 grs. PT - Not bad. It drops a bit more but I am able to keep the same scope settings out to 200 yds. +1
NOSLER 129 grs. PT - Haven't tested enough yet. +0
HORNADY 100 grs. INTERLOCK - Haven't tested enough yet. For now -1
HORNADY 129 grs. INTERLOCK - Very consistent. +2
BARNES 120 TSX - Haven't tested enough yet. For now -1
RWS 108 KS - Very accurate and consistent - It drops a lot compare to BT though +1

Haven't tried any of the heavier bullets (140sh) as I think their flying path is too curve.

For paper, I`d try the 142gr Sierra MKHP or maybe the new 140 Nosler HP competition bullet. I found the Sierra to be very accurate but haven`t shot but a couple of the Nosler bullets so far and can`t really comment on them yet.
Don`t worry too much about the drop of the 140 gr bullets over lighter ones. The 142 gr going 2700 fps drops ~4" more at 600 yd with a 100 yd zero then a 120 gr Nosler BT driven at 2900fps according to my "RCBS Load" program. The 120 gr MK also has been a good performer along with the 120 gr Nosler BT as a tight 2nd place runner.
If I planned on shooting at game the 100 or 120gr Nosler BT would be my choice depending on the animal for overall accuracy and impct performance.

In my 6.5-'06 the 120 gr Nosler Solid Base and the 160 gr Hornady RN both shot less then .5" three-shot groups at 100 yds.

Recently I shot some 130 gr Berger VLD bullets; not quite as accurate, but the highest BC bullet I have used.
