I've been thinking about selling my 20" barreled 22-250 to fund another project and then replacing it with a savage a lilttle later on. you'll have to let me know how it shoots I have never owned a savage.

Hey POP, is that a 12FV and did you have Savage install the accu-brake? Just curious as I have a 12FV in 204 Ruger and although it's an awesome rifle for varmints and such, the stock left much to be desired, the fore end would flex when using a bipod. I eventually bought a Ross Thumbhole laminate from Boyd's and sanded the barrel channel out for the heavy barrel. This made the balane of the rifle a lot better and I don't have to worry about the flexing.

those savage rifles will shoot, bought a $399 rifle that shot 1.75" groups at 300 yrds and my dumb a$$ went an put a shilen barrel on it, great rifles, I havent found anything better!
