Just finished reading John Barsness's article in the May 2011 Rifle magazine for the second time and have to say, I am now bewitched with a desire to get a Nosler Legacy Rifle in 338 Win Mag. Boy he has a way with words, between him, Van Zwoll and Boddington, I have the trinity of gundom making my wishlist grow bigger each year. Chub Eastman belongs in that crowd too!
Those are the most handsome Nosler rifles yet, but I also like the Trophy Grade and probably would have more use for it than the Legacy.
I also like the sounds of that 200 grain AccuBond at 2950...
I have always thought that if you have a 300 Mag there is no sense at all in having a 338 unless you want to shoot bullets bigger than 200 grain. I guess an old dog can learn new tricks! Cuz now I want one and want to shoot 200-225 grain bullets in it!
Now if I could just afford another rifle or two a year...
