over second breakfast this morning I was browsing through the nosler reloading guide #7 and came upon an interesting read:

35whelen (page 568)

Technical information: "best with medium burning powders like IMR 4350." strangely in their loads 4350 isn't a printed powder

not a big deal just found it odd while reading that this morning

4350 is the last powder I'd try in the Whelen. RL17 maybe with heavyweights but that's about the extent of it.

Typos enter the books and remain for multiple printings until someone catches them. I'll wager that now that you've pointed out this typo, it will be changed in the next edition of the Nosler Guide.

On reviewing pages 436-437 of Nosler Reloading Guide #5, we find a few IMR4350 loads. Ken Howell also had some good words for the .35 Whelen.

Some of the pictures seem off a little as well. The 300 WBY pictures doesn't look like a 300 WBY to me. Shoulders look pretty sharp..

Jeeze, with the results some are getting, maybe Nosler was ahead of the power curve.
