I am going to try the buisqit fire on the last two weeks of the seaon with a 300 wsm and a prediter call. This will be my first spring bear hunt.

I did not put in this year because I leave for the ARMY in 3 weeks. My mom however drew for walla walla, which is where some of the biggest bears in the state come out of. My #10 youth came from there. I have shot 4 bears in the last 5 years, 2 in spring, 2 in fall general season. My dad was unsuccessful. Good luck to you guys.

s/w spring bear tag is in my wallet, the two guys i planned to hunt with did not get drawn. so it's back to my old hunting area on the umpqua.
