What is your favorite bullet for Varmint and what is your favorite deer/antelope bullet? As far as varmints, I'm looking for something that will be very fur un-friendly :)

Yote,

Go with the 100 gr BT for both and don't look back.

JD338

I have a load worked up with the 85BT that is very fur unfriendly to the yotes shot so far. Most of that may be due to hitting them on the run...south end on a north-bound yote

54.5gr RL17, .015 off the lands with the 85gr BT is way less than 1/2MOA and runs around
3700fps.

Sorry, they don't allow deer rounds in Iowa, so nothing there.

I have been shooting deer for about three years with the 115 BST, 115 BT, and the 110 AccuBond. All of them loaded with 49.0 grains of RL19. Havent chronographed yet but under 3/4 inch in five different rifles. Both rounds are proven for White tail deer in the Texas hill country.

For varmint red misting a Sierra 87 gr with a heavy dose of IMR 4350.

The deer load that I have used for years and have killed upwards of 150 deer with it is. 49 grs IMR 4350, Rem case, CCI 250 primer, 117 gr Sierra pro hunter. It is a tack driver going 3000 fps from my 26" barrel and if you put one in the shoulder of a deer it is DRT.

Varmint load is 75gr V-Max and IMR4350. The 85gr Ballistic Tip just didn't shoot well, but I'm sure it's spectacular in the spray factor.

Hunting load was primarily 115 NBT, 120 NPT, or 117gr Hornady. My son snuck a 115grn Barnes X into a cow elk with deadly results.

For coyotes try the 75 grain V-Max. When loaded over a max load of IMR 4831 it does wonders on coyotes, really smacks them.

For deer and such I prefer the 100 grain Nosler Partition over IMR 4831. It has worked well on deer, antelope, wild hogs, and a few coyotes as well.

Picked up some 85 and 100 BT and 110 AB to see what the rifle will do. (before POP posted his bullets for sale :( Powders I'd like to start with are RL22, IMR4350, and H4831SC. Might have to pick up some RL19 to try if the 85s don't like 4350.

What primers would you suggest trying? I have WLR, and FED215M on hand. Nosler used WLR in their test loads but I have read where some people are using mag primers.

What rifle/scope are you shooting? What kind of group are you getting witht he 110gr AB and IMR4350?

Model 70 sporter classic / Leupold VXIII4.5-14X40 BC ret.
right at MOA with my full power deer load @ 3150fps
It soots 1/2-3/4 groups if I slow it down to 2950fps.

My load was 60 grains of Retumbo with a CCI-BR2 primer and 117 grain sierra gameking. it gave me .322 inch groups at 100 yards before I got rid of it. :(

Remingtonman - as I recall, over the years you've posted up quite a few different kills, near and far, with that particular bullet. Black bear, mule deer, and maybe even elk. Although I can't remember for sure, just that you've had great success with the cartridge and that 115 gr bullet.

I put a lot of faith in what Remingtonman has to say about the .25-06 and how well it works on game.

115 partions for both.

my brother has killed whitetail at 200yards and 2 300lbs russian boars at roughly 75 yards all dropped dead in there tracks
