I'm starting a new project. I should have a brand new glock 20 by weeks end. Any powder/ bullet recommendations. I think I'm going to start out with blue dot. I've already got 155 Speer GD for carry, and 180 Hornady FMJ for target. I was thinking about Hornady 200 HP-XTP for field use. I still get excited every time I get a new gun.

800X for powder and 9.5 for weight with 200gr XTP and CCI 350 primer

Yup! I use that and Blue dot. I get 1200 fps or so from my 1006.

had a 1006 many years ago, now a Glock 20.

The SW 1006 was a excellent pistol along with the 1045 in 45 ACP.

In the 180 grain weight I love Hodgdon Longshot. I start with 8.6 grains and slowly work up. I use CCI 300 primers. I used to use magnums but in my experience all it does it raise the pressure.
