Rigs that the factories don't make (yet)?

Both Tikka and Sako make a "Hunter" model rifle which has a walnut stock and actually the Tikka T3 Hunter does not look that much different than my Sako Model 85 Hunter.

I would like to have Browning/Winchester manufacture the .257 Roberts in the Fetherweight Model 70!

Yeah, a Bob or .250 Savage FWT would be tempting...

Sako had to add a little "ugly" to the Tikkas so some people would still spend the money for a Sako.

That is a classic statement. I'll have to remember that one.

...there was an article on the T3's a few mo. ago, in "Rifle Shooter", I think, where the president of Sako admitted to making the new Tikkas a little more "utilitarian" because they were making noticable inroads on Sako sales...

Would love to see Savage bring back their 99 E solid frame (not the clip model or takedown) in 338 Federal, 358 WCF, and 308 for starters...bring forward other short action calibers as needed.

Would love to see a Ruger Mini 14 or 10/22H in 22 Hornet and the new 17 Hornet...dont know why!

Would love to see someone make a 21" bolt action carbine which would hold 5+1 in the barrel in 450 Marlin as a brush gun for those of us who'd rather have the 45-70 in a lever gun though like the 450 enough to own a bolt gun thus chambered.

And finally keep the 308's and 30-06's rolling out! They are the two best all-around cartridges ever conceived and frankly everyone should own one or both like I do!

So reliable and dependable that they are Legendary...

Fascinating! I looked on the Winchester site. Must be an advanced case of Old Timer's Disease.

Savage 99 with the rotary magazine, and then chambered with the entire line of .308 based family of rounds.

I must say that a 99 in .338 Federal does have some appeal.

Well, duh. How about another run of M70 Sporters in .264?

You got here ahead of me. I was going to say win 70 in 264 win mag. Just to be different I will say a featherweight in 6.5 creedmoore or 260 remington.

How about a Vanguard S2 in 7mm Weatherby? I'd buy one! (Maybe that's not all that hard to imagine. )

I have a Ruger Hawkeye Creedmoor already, but a Featherweight would be kinda fun!

(My spellcheck really chokes on Ruger Hawkeye Creedmoor!)

I sort of sound like a broken record...... 280 6mm 280 6mm !

Forgot to mention this earlier,,,,,
Something to be said for being predictable
Personally, they are couple of my favorites as well !

The 700 in .221 Fireball, the M70 in .257 Roberts, 6.5x55 and 7x57, and just because I'm a viking, somebody please chamber the .308 Norma! :)

Have a Fireball, but I would buy M70s in all listed. And if Winchester (or a distributor) would do a run of .308 Normas, I'd get one of them too. If just to add to my 'Department of Redundancy Department' thread!

Anything in 250-3000 Savage  A model 99 in anything (cause I couldnt afford one anyway). And Striker or an Rem XP in 250-3000 CL (aw come on its me.... what did ya expect?)
