Rigs that the factories don't make (yet)?

I would think it would be pretty cool if Winchester made its M70 extreme weather in .264 win mag with a 26" barrel.

And if Winchester (or a distributor) would do a run of .308 Normas, I'd get one of them too. If just to add to my 'Department of Redundancy Department' thread!

You read my mind BK; when I looked at that thread I was thinking a Norma would round out your collection quite nicely!

The 700 in .221 Fireball, the M70 in .257 Roberts, 6.5x55 and 7x57, and just because I'm a viking, somebody please chamber the .308 Norma! :)

Have a Fireball, but I would buy M70s in all listed. And if Winchester (or a distributor) would do a run of .308 Normas, I'd get one of them too. If just to add to my 'Department of Redundancy Department' thread!

I would take a 358 Norma in a M70 pretty quickly. I've thought about rechambering my M70 338 a least a dozen times but I don't have the heart. Scotty

I've been thinking of a rifle I would have liked Remington to have made/imported... one of their 798 (Zastava Mausers) in a laminated stock shaped just like a CDL (without the stupid recoil pad Remington is using these days... how about a plain Decelerator) in stainless with the XCR II finish. .375 H&H with some decent sights, that'd be a heck of an Alaska rifle.
