Ruger #1

My gunsmith went ahead and borescoped the barrel . he scoped it It looked the same way yours did...I had to buy a new Brux barrel.
Fotis what are your thoughs on the Brux barrel? I’m leaning towards trying one.

I don’t understand how someone could put barrels like that out the door, much less charge those prices for them, THEN justify it! I don’t think age is the culprit with his crap work. I’m 54 years old and am just starting to feel like I have a clue as to what I’m doing. I’m speechless to be quite honest. My name is worth more than that to me to put work like that into someone’s hands.
At his age you would think that there would be some sort of pride in his workmanship and his reputation. I guess it's all about the dollar with no concerns as to how it was gotten. It's sad to see it.

I agree. I'm a vibrant 36 year old living in a 65 year old body! 😁

LOL - I remember when I was a 40 year old Elk hunter & hearing about rescues going on for a lost or injured 60 year old hunter. I would say to my self "What the heck is a 60 year old doing out in the woods" ... Well, now that I'm firmly in my mid 60's I make no mention of that anymore. :censored: I thoroughly enjoy hunting every year but I cannot pack out as much as I could when I was in my 40's.

It comes a time when it's time to retire instead of ruining your reputation. It's figuring out when that time is can be the tough part. I used to build custom fishing rods. The time came when my arthritis in my hands was start to show in my work. It was time to quit. Sooner or later your age will catch up with you.
Only for the LUCKY ONES! But I agree, we all mature to different skills as we age, but deteriorate at others.

Getting old has it's rewards, it's up to the individual to use those benefits wisely! Sounds like this Wayne ain't figured it out yet, and sounds like he he keeps doing his thing at others expense.
