Went back to the local gun shop in hopes they still had some of that N540, well they did and I came back with all of it. Too hard to pass up at the price, and the 223 absolutely loves it with those 75g ELDMs. Oh yah, they had a few 500 count packs of those too, so I snagged two of them as well. There went a quick $500 bill

Ya it'll keep me good for a couple few years on the 223 anyway. All of that on the wall are 6mm 87g vmax/108 eldms for the 6 Crees, and 7mm 162 amax/180g eldms for the 7-300 Win mag, and another 5 boxes or so of 75g eldms.

Building this fast twist 223 cost me a bit in powder/bullets/primers as I didn't really have any of it on the shelf. Wanted to get stocked up while I could being an election year and all. We all know how that goes...

Also ordered a couple Forster ultra micrometer seater dies for the 223 and 6 creed to seat these ELDMs. The basic RCBS seater just wasn't cutting it. Horrible inconsistencies with seating depth and was tearing up the bullets. Got them for $100 each. RCBS wanted $45 to make a vld stem and a 6 week turn around time. I just figured I'd get the Forster micrometer seaters at that point. Made a lot more sense.
