Son got it done this past weekend on youth season

This past weekend was youth rifle season in KY. My son and I hunted Saturday morning and evening with no luck. Sunday morning no luck either. Sunday evening a group of three 8 pts hit the clover plot. My son liked this one so he put the cross hairs of the 243 where they needed to be and pulled the trigger. Deer ran about 70 yards before piling up. Bullet was a 100 gr Partition. He was shaking so bad after he shot he could not pick up the brass, lol!! Made me a real happy Dad.

Boy- thats the truth! Well done to you both. When I took my biggest antelope, I was fine, steady as a rock.... Woke up in bed later that night, shaking so bad I couldnt sit up. Delayed buck fever I guess. CL
