A week or so ago, a friend and I toured the Nosler factory, with Sean as our guide. He was great (as were the other Nosler people we met).

We not only saw all the steps Nosler uses to manufacture their bullets (except how they bond their AccuBond bullets, which is proprietary), but we also toured their packaging and shipping areas, quality control tables (each bullet is inspected by eye), ballistics lab, custom rifle making facility and custom ammo loading operations (they really do load their ammo by hand, one round at a time).

It was a great experience, and if you ever have an opportunity to tour their operation, take it.

So — many thanks to Nosler for providing us that opportunity and for being such gracious hosts.

Nosler is a first class act. It reflects in the products they produce and the people that work there.

I didn't know you were from the forum! I would've introduced myself as Nosler4 instead!

In the words of the Terminator: "I'll be back!" and I'll mention that I'm a forum member.

Really — you guys are great. Almost as good as your bullets!

EDIT: It occurs to me that the fact that you didn't know that I'm a forum member, yet your hospitality was nevertheless superb, speaks volumes for how well you do your job. Just IMO.

I make it a point to stop by and check out their place every time I drive through. They really do have a top notch shop and personel!

Last time I was in there a guy behind the counter bet me that I couldn't hold their barret 50 to my shoulder standing for 20 minutes. Said if I could he'd let me have the 50! He got it out of the rack and let me play with it and let me tell you THOSE THINGS ARE HEAVY!

I would highly recommend the bullet tour and stopping by the proshop (they are the same building), it is well worth the time.
