Trail Cam Picture Sticky

I didn't have time to set cameras this year, but this guy visited me at work today while I was loading my truck. Pics from an iPhone without any zooming. I got within 30-35 yards dressed in fire retardant coveralls with reflective stripes, furthest thing from camo. He did start following me when I retreated, that did worry me a bit. He wasn't a big bull, probably 36", but still fun to see up close and personal.

He looks like a healthy bull. The iPhone pics can be amazing for their clarity.

I could swear the deer know they are being photograph.

Not a trail cam but I took these black-tail pictures from my pick up window near my property in California. After deer season closed of course.

A couple of fine-looking specimens. Of course, they seldom appear during the season. I believe they read the regulations.

a spike with brow tines . he now has one side broke off .

couple doe and a coon .

the only buck I saw during archery season .

the one I was looking for , and never saw him during legal hours . he's a nice buck for my area .

A decent looking buck. Curious does are always interesting to watch.

Anyone getting any good pics from their trail cams yet? I got what I've been waiting for: confirmation that the buck I missed out on last year made it thru the winter. He looks to be in fine shape, and I'm anxious to have another go at him this fall.

I'm afraid that my footwear would dissuade any canid from wanting them in their mouth. Very neat post.

Looks as if you have your eye on a very promising deer, Lynn. Hope he is available for you come fall.

Biggest one I've seen, outside of BAE land (fenced in), in all my 44 years right there.... He is running wild on public land, just exactly where is highly classified info.

That picture is 3 weeks old...

I'm hoping either my wife or my son can get him, but it has been agreed, whoever sees him first gets him.... There are 2 other hunters involved in the lease.

He'd be a great deer about anywhere. I understand the need to keep his location somewhat quiet. Here's pulling for you come hunting season.
