USPS Tracking Joke

I have watched my USPS shipments pass my house and go 200 miles in the wrong direction and then turn around and bounce back and forth between DC's for two days before landing at the post office for delivery.

I'm going to start a conspiracy theory here. I think the mail/government is doing this intentionally on firearms related items. I recently ordered some paper rifle targets from Rite in the Rain. I know, who knew they made targets that had the same weather properties that Law Enforcement folks have relied upon for years? I got the update that my package had shipped a couple days later. I never heard anything and after several days I went on-line and checked the shipping. It had made it as far as a USPS shipping depot in Washington state. I don't recall the town now. Nothing a couple days later so I called USPS to see what happened. My package apparently, because I'll never know for sure, was still at the Washington location. USPS was on it. Low and behold a few days later my targets finally showed up. Not sure how these could just be hanging out at a USPS location in Washington for several days.
