What's the difference?

The 7mm 140 gr PT has no cannelure, but sometimes you find them at SPS. The SPS now has some seconds listed as BAND. What is the difference between this and the regular cannelure?

The band is just that with no cannulure striations on it. The band is just .003 deep band that may serve as a cannulure or not.

OT3 is correct. The cut band acts as the cannelure.
