WHEN YOU CAN'T LOAD OR SHOOT......

Hey Scotty,
Latest modification - added an adjustable 1" web strap. Put it on the closest thing I have to a Mod. 70 Featherlight(Montana 1999) just for you.
Scotty - If you like it; P/M me a mailing address and I'll send it out(the sling not the rifle) :) .

That sling looks GREAT Scott. Nice work buddy. Man, I have seen some really cool ways to use 550 cord, but I haven't ever seen an entire sling fashioned of one!

This one is made in three seperate layers so that if you need 25' to tie off an elk quarter you'd still have an operable sling. It has 3 -25 ' layers.

Scott

Jim,
Just so you know the sling you have has two seperate 40' layers. You could pull the first layer and still have a functioning sling - just a little narrower.

Scott

That certainly shows some forethought and planning. Excellent job, Scott.

Thanks buddy!

I can attest that these slings are nice!

I HAVE BEEN LOADING LIKE A MAD DOG!

All I can do with this weather.

That is way cool.!!!! Personaly I prefer to mope, pout and be depressed when I am not outside.

I shoveled my way into my bench yesterday! Today I will attempt to get to the target. It will take a chain saw because of all of the fallen trees and limbs as a result of the ice storm. Spring has returned here again.

Did not make the target yesterday. The large oak in the way is frozen into the snow. Makes removal of the limbe very slow and time consuming. Temps barely got above freezing which didn't help either.

It was 68 here yesterday!

Bill,

It got up to 55 F here yesterday, though the day started at about 30 F. Not bad for this far north.

Thats spring like, we are enjoying lows in the high 20's F and highs in the low 40's no wind. Great but no rain. May have a fire season in the NW if we don't get some hard weather in the next 6 weeks. We have just about turned the long term severe weather corner. Little or no snow accumulation after about the first week of march. This winer has really gone fast for me.

I hear you, Bill. Our snow pack is very low. It promises to be a dry summer at this rate. On the other hand, at this rate, we may plant date palms shortly.

75 here. Of course I was working. Plus, there was a Santa Anna wind alert on.

I was intrigued to note that Barnes now offers "Para-Cord Survival Bracelets."

Scott, they are ripping you off! Consequently, the slings are much more practical and assuredly more attractive.

Thanks Mike!
My research found that I wouldn't be able to make it a profitable venture. I just make them for people who appreciate them. You can find variations of the slings I make for $35 to $50 on the internet.

Your sling will get alot of use this year in Idaho Scott. It'll be on one of the rifles for sure. I love it! Can't wait to sling up with a hasty sling and see how it does. Might spray a little Super 77 on it to make it a touch sticker, but I think it'll be perfect for me. Love it. Thank you alot buddy.
