Where are you hunting in 2012

late getting into this forum. Back to Colorado this year for Elk. three miles as the crow flies from our old hunting area to our new hunting area. As I mentioned in a previous post and oil company bought the 4000 acres we used to hunt on. Immediately the signs went up along with a security guard to patrol the property. The new piece (3200 acres) is just outside of Oak Creek. Scotty, I believe you mentioned Meeker, Colorado. That's about a half hour from us. Excellent hunting in that area. You won't have any problem seeing Elk. We will be hunting first season limited Elk. In November I'll be heading to Maine for Deer.
