Which truck / Chevrolet or Ford

engine tolerances are tighter and still have the dipstick. transmissions will leak via cooler lines and rear seals (yokes), so there's a very good reason to keep them! auto makers are getting closer and closer to where they control everything and can only be worked on by dealers as the codes can only be seen by their mechanics.

I’m driving a 2024 F-350 6.7 diesel. We have several trailers included a 16K 6-horse head to head gooseneck. I traded a 2022 F-350 for this one. Those trucks get 18.5 mpg everyday driving and 21.5+ on the interstate with the cruise set at 70 mph. Towing is dependant on the trailer weight. The towing power is worth the extra maintenance cost.

We also have a F-150 3.5 Ecoboost that is my wife’s truck. We’ve had several Chevies over the years but prefer our Ford’s. I wouldn’t have a RAM on a bet. Chevies are more of a luxury truck than a work truck. I felt like I should be wearing starched and pressed skivies when I had that Chevy 1500.

My brother has a nice newer ford 150. He slid on a mountain road into a large rock., not a lot but enough to be irritating. The aluminum body is much more expensive to repair-two quotes in the $8000 range. Something to think about -

Head to head means the horses are lined up side by side and face each other (head to head). Ours had a walk way between the horses. The ones in the very front faced backwards the ones the back faced them. 3 horses wide, two rows of horses deep. You can grab any horse out of the trailer without moving the other ones and fit more horses in the trailer. My pawpaw had one that was a 9 horse, but it was as long as a summer day and heavy.

i hadn't seen a trailer designed that way except for a semi trailer that had a center entrance/exit.
