Thought I would break the 358 cal bullet out to its own post.

265gr LRAB for the whelen's and norma mag, for elk and moose sized game.

225gr Solid Base Bonded Spitzer shaped for the 358win and 350rem Designed for fast expantion on deer at 2400 fps MV. We have the PT for every thing else.

200gr Solid Base Bonded Flat Point designed for the 35rem, MV of 2300 to 2000 fps and has to expand fast on deer sized game. Being bonded it should work on black bear and pigs too.

Those sound good to me although I would prefer a 250 gr AccuBond over a ABLR. If they did come out with an ABLR I would surely try it though.........

I would put this in the 2016 Bullet Wish List thread.
Nosler is watching that thread. ;)

Same here Gerry. I've got just the rifle to wring them out should they ever be made.

I have commented there has well, but wanted more conversasion on the 35 cal bullets and the reasonning behind it. Like the the 250gr AB may be better for the whelens velocities than the 265gr for longer range work. The 250gr PT has pretty good BC boost that with the AB and the whelen may be a serious 400 yards elk gun.

So far I have been disapointed with the 200gr Spire point in my 358win on deer. I have yet to use the 225gr PT on deer to see how they work. I have them loaded to 2430fps and get .65" 3-shot groups, love that. For deer a 200gr PT would be fine but a cheaper 215-225gr bonded would be better if designe with deer as the primary goal. Same for my dream bullet for the 35rem.

The 250 PT at 2550-2600 will fetch any elk at 400 yards that lives. I'd like to see a bonded 250 as well for the larger .358's, but what they offer now will never give me pause..

Don't be scared of that 225 PT at 2400.. It absolutely SLAYs deer Tjen. I run the same combo in my 358 and it straight out HAMMERS deer.. It's almost unfair to them.
