Wouldn't this be cool in a collection?

That would be a sweet rifle to add to my Featherweight collection. The price looks about right.

I want it! After seeing how the little 7x57 shoots!

That would really fit your son and daughter, Scotty. It is a neat round. I've seen several moose taken with the little Swede.

For the kids! Heck, I wouldn't mind one for myself!

Believe it or not, I passed on that exact model a few years back as I was strapped for cash and really didn't want a 6.5 anything at the time. There are times I could kick myself.

That is a beauty gun. I always wanted one but am very left eye dominant so have to shoot left handed :( the 6.5x55 is a great round like any of the other similar sized 6.5's shot my only wolf with one and a 156 gr Norma factory load in the late 90's.

I would like a small 6.5 as well. Pretty great little round.

Good friend of mine took a Bighorn ram at 350yds with this same caliber. 18" of penetration with a 140gr at about 2700fps.

I'm pretty excited to finalize a 140 AB load for my 264. Should be close to 3200 when I'm finished and that will work well I think. Long and lean. Be nice to shoot long with too. Looking forward to using the 140 BTs. Should make great range and deer bullets.

Maybe you could swap it for that 7 Mauser!

My Dad hunted with this caliber for around 20 years and we found this to be one of those calibers that performs better than the figures published on it show that it does. He shot 139gr bullets in it and their lenght to breadth, relationship, seamed to give unreal penatration. He had dozens of instant kills using it on Big Northern Whitetails, and when we took down to New Zealand we used it for Chamios, Thar, and Red Stag, and it performed flawlessly . This caliber in this rifle would be an unstopable combo. What a sweet setup!

That is a real sweet heart of a rifle and cartridge.
The 6.5 mm Swedish Mauser has a lot of cool factor too.
