I've had two 6.5 MM rifles. One was a 1903 Mannlicher-Schoenaur in 6.5x54. Some low life stole from my truck in Elko Nevada coming home from a deer hunt. The was an M38 Swedish Mauser custom I built. I took it out into the desert to test fire at a place where others shoot. Guy wanted that rifle badly. Gave me $500 and a Remington 600 Mohawk for it. Sometime I think about that rifle and wonder if it would have been a good one. I would love to find another 1903 Mannlicher though. Found a good substitute. A Ruger M77 RSI that handled exactly like the Mannlicher.

My first was a 6.5/284 and my second was 6.5-06 Ackley Improved. If I add a third it will be a 260 Ackley Improved or a 6.5x55.

My first was a custom 6.5x284 followed by a 264 Win Mag. Now I have 2) 6.5x47L, 2) 6.5 Creedmoors, 3)6.5-300wm's, 6.5SAUM, 6.5PRC, and 6.5x68 Imp. My favorite is probably the 6.5-300wm's because I've shot a bunch of animals with them.

Nope, farmers field in Wyoming that was having an Antelope problem. We took care of two of them for him.

It’s a reload with Nosler Brass and Nosler 130gr AB with a Max load of Retumbo.
