Use glass bakeware with a cover.
Layers are sliced thin, no more than 1/4"
Layer of sliced zuccini
Layer of sliced garden tomato
Layer of sliced onion
Pats of butter
Salt and pepper
Layer of Mozzerella cheese
Repeat until caserole dish is full to the top.
Cover and bake @ 350 until you can push a butter knife down to the bottom of the dish with little resistance....probably about an hour.
