I've watched the Youtube videos and the performance seems to be very good. I think the 1100+fps readings in the article are an anomaly from their chronograph and 850ish is more like it.
I use HST's in all my defensive auto calibers and plan on trying some of these 38's when I can find them.
Looks like a factory version of the handload that people have done for decades: seating hollow-base wadcutters in a 38 case, for a home-brew defensive load.
Not that there's a thing wrong with that.
Ya, I suspect those 1100 fps readings were a problem with the chronograph - or maybe they got some super-duper loads! :grin:
