    Last chance???

That would be nice. Bonus would be taking a couple of wolves out of there as well.

    Imagination Time.

Same for me. I would probably go on a archery elk hunt in New Mexico. I love the Rockies in Colorado and Wyoming, but not sure that I could handle a week to ten days chasing elk up and down ridges at 10,000-12,000 feet anymore.

    Picked up an XDs today

Federal HST 147 gr in my 9mm. Works great in my XD subcompact and in my EMP. I use HST 240 gr in my .45s.

I need to clean my loading bench more often

I could tell many stories like the ones above. Makes me want to go organize the barn/shop. No telling what kind of stuff I have that I don't know I have.

    Helicopter coyote hunt

I have shot 100s of hogs from a helicopter with an AR. That is my firearm of choice for the application. A red dot or holographic sight makes a BIG difference over open sights. I would not use magnified optics. Quick target acquisition with a moving target and moving shooting platform makes it...

    Helicopter coyote hunt

I have flown several times as a gunner for hogs and coyotes. It is the most fun that I have ever had with a gun. I have a couple of videos that were hastily put together. http://youtu.be/ONhoLJqmuFM 14 year old boy blasting hogs and coyotes http://youtu.be/_yXa2_ZsdYQ

    Archery... mechanical broadheads

I have hunted whitetail for years using 100 gr NAP Spitfires. Have killed dozens of deer with them. Have yet to lose one. Spitfires are great mechanical heads. I have used Thunderheads, as well. My preference for whitetail are the Spitfires.

Post your Hunting Rigs - Mine - 2014 Dodge Ram 2500HD

I usually tow my '06 Jeep Wrangler to the deer lease with my '12 F250. But, I use them both during the season. Now, hunting elk requires a different quad.

Great story and photos, Darkhorse. Thanks for sharing. We have trapped a few hogs over the years. They do tend to get a bit peeved.
