Can someone do a quickload for me.
243 ackley improved and vihtavuori n165 with a 85 NPT and 95 NPT. Not sure the C.O.A.L. as I have not picked up some bullets yet to try.
25-284 with 115 NBT and vihtavuori n165, this one would have a C.O.A.L. of 2.950"...not a typo I seat them long in my...
With a low power scope those groups are not that bad.
Try a higher mag scope for load testing if you have one.
I used a 20x scope for testing on my AR15 then put a 1x-4x scope on it for hunting.
I was able to get my groups consistently under an inch with my 50gr V-max load using the high power...
What type of AR is it?.
twist rate?
Scope?
Try a different powder like benchmark or TAC, both meter very well.
Have not used CFE 223 powder but heard good things about it so far.
Maybe a different bullet
Do you full length resize and bump the shoulder back .002"-.003"
What is you C.O.A.L. I...
Exact same tent i have. Will serve you well. rain, wind, couple feet of snow it doesn't care one bit.
And yes its a two person+gear tent.
I just wish the vestibule was a little bigger, although its big enough to cook in when things get to nasty to get outside.
I recommend full length sizing on the contenders, When I neck size only I get vertical stringing.
Can you use a seater die from a regular hornet?
No you cant. the K Hornet has less body taper and will not fit in a standard hornet seating die
thinking about trying this pill in my 6.5 Creedmoor.
I use a Berger 130gr H-VLD for target and varmints but want something a little tougher if I ever use it for bigger critters.
The 629 I had maxed out at 18.5gr H110/Nosler 300 JHP and accuracy was awesome, I got 1200 fps with a 8 3/8 barrel.
Good luck Jim and keep us updated.

Hornady has nicely put reloading data on the 6.5 Creedmoor target ammo using there 120 A-Max and 140 A-Max bullets but not the hunting ammo.
Never seen it on any other factory ammo.

Nice
I use that one in my 270 WSM. nice to know it holds up well in case I jump something close.
I knew it would anyways from all the reports on the NAB I read
When I lived in a different state we had wild turkeys, wild pigs, elk and an occasional range cow wonder between shooters and the 300 yard line.
Here in northern Nevada we have wild horses that don't seem wild and love to investigate whats going on when we shoot.
My last three Remington rifles did poorly. 243, 7-08 and 300WM.
Kept the 300WN and sold the rest. I was able to find one halfway decent load for the 300WM so far.
My last two rifles have been Winchester featherweights, one in 243 that like RR I could not get to shoot, Now its been rebarreled to...
