There are two RCBS tray-fed hand primers. The original one uses conventional shell holders, and has a round (or octagonal?) tray. The Universal hand primer has a larger, square tray, and has universal shell holder jaws so you don't have to change out shell holders for different cartridges. RCBS...
The cam-lock puller works fine on my co-ax. When pulling bullets, you do not advance the ram all the way up, just far enough to get the case neck to the bottom of the die (the bullet sticking up inside the collet), so the co-ax handle does not interfere with the puller lever.
Any press that...
I guess I'm just a Heinz 57 kind of reloader.
Lee collet neck sizing dies
Lee collet-type FCD for rifle or bottleneck pistol cartridges (not CFCD!)
Redding Profile pistol crimp die
Forster rifle dies
Hornady pistol seating dies
Redding or Lyman M-type expander dies
Any brand of carbide or...
I've used the Lee system, but I switched to the L.E. Wilson Trimmer for rifle brass. Adjustable, reasonably priced, incredibly accurate and consistent. Sinclair sell a fancy base and micrometer adjustment, as well as other accessories for it that are very nice, but not really necessary.

I use a Forster co-ax, and wouldn't trade it for anything (except maybe the newest revision with the larger handle yoke for really tall dies). It is exceptionally well designed and built, and a joy to use. From snap-in/out, floating die retention and automatic universal shell holder jaws, to the...
The changed barrel harmonics will probably not give you better groups with the same load; you'll need to develop a load for it. I would imagine the effect on harmonics of the device would be much more consistent than wrapping a finger around the barrel.
I'm not promoting or discounting the...
Total run out includes the the offset of the tip of the bullet from the centerline of the cartridge, the offset of the neck centerline from the centerline of the cartridge. The way it is measured will usually include the amount of out-of-roundness in the body of the case and/or neck too.
Here...
Rick,
I've thought about using my Hornady pistol expander die (with a flat top) upside down in my co-ax, and using it as a "ram" or stop for my co-ax, removing the shell holder from the platen, and using the co-ax like an arbor press with Wilson dies. Do you think that might work? How tall are...
The Rock Chucker is a venerable press, but it lacks one feature of several other presses: a hollow ram and tubing to capture spent primers and debris more efficiently, keeping them off the floor. The lack of this (and therefore the tendency to dump primers onto the floor) is the only complaint I...
For 7.62x25 Tokarev, I use a RCBS sizer, Lyman M expander, Hornady seater, and Lee FCD. How's that for spreading the wealth?
For 45 colt, I use Hornady sizer and seater, with a Lyman M expander.

Blazergun, hey that looks sorta like those old exercise gliders. Come to thing of it, I've got one holding up clothes in my bedroom! I wonder if I could hook up my press to it, and get a cardio workout while reloading?!

I was thinking something along the lines of the old "campaign chests" used in the civil war, and probably earlier. Basically a chest with a front fold down flap that gives you a work space when open, and closes up for storage and transport. The military versions had separate folding legs for...
Depending on the "regular" die, not much except price. "Match grade" is a marketing term, and not a specification.
Match grade sizing dies usually have interchangeable neck bushings that can be used with or without an expander button.
Match grade or "competition" seating dies usually have a...
Most presses are designed to have about the same amount of gap between the top of the ram (at top of stroke) and the underside of the die holder. Taller presses have taller rams (and longer strokes) to keep it pretty much the same.
Something just does not sound right about your seating die...
I've used the Hornady ND dies on the Lee hand press, the Huntington Compac hand press, and the Forster Co-ax, and never had any problem crimping or avoiding crimping. The micrometer adjusting screw does not affect crimping. I can't use the micrometer on my co-ax (too tall to clear the handle...
