I had a little time this morning to run out to the range just to confirm my zero on the 300 HH Number1. I also wanted to test a load I had found several pages back in my log book. The note said “ wow, great load but a little slow”
69.0 grains N570, 180TTSX; loaded .09 off the lands. I expected it to run a little over 3K but it came in at 2975. Ok for a 300 HH but I wanted a little more.
I fired three shots then swung for the 400 yard target, dialed and fired the last two. The two shots at 400 were about an inch and half low, centered on the same horizontal line about 2inches apart.
The three at 100 were just a little to the right, and just 1.5 high, I’m not touching anything.

Can’t argue with those results. I’ve been a firm believer in the TTSX bullet , easy to find a load and flat out put deer down.

That would work for anything I might encounter in BC or the Yukon.
