I've got a good supply of 150 Partition gold and would like to try them in a friends Rem 700 300 ultra mag for wisconsin whitetail hunting. I know a heavier bullet may be more ideal but I have a lot of respect for how tough this bullet really is.
Has anyone had any great luck with this combo---not necessarily looking for speed---300 win mag speed with accuracy would even be more preferred. Thanks

I had good luck with 150g CTBT"s in my 300 RUM with H-1000. I believe I was putting 105g in there. I know its not the same bullet, but it may help you out. Start low as always, this is MAX load in my rifle.

95-96 grains of RL 22----work up slow
good for 3500-3600fps for shooting from 1 zip code to another!!

My load was averaging right at 3650fps, with .5 MOA out to 800 yards. I just wanted to work up a load with a 150g bullet, I never stuck with it. To much of a barrel burner.
