375 H&H 285 GRAND SLAM DATA

Right now I am loading 285 Grand Slams, 79.0 Gr's of IMR 4350. Great load. I have been trying though to get 270 Barnes XLC's to shoot in it to my disappointment. I have tried a complete list of loads in it but my Remington just doesn't seem to like the Barnes. Are any of you using Barnes, and/or having trouble with them? Or are they doing well? Tell me what is going on with your loads? Thanks..

I had a lot of trouble getting the Barnes bullets to shoot in several rifles, gave up on them.

I recently worked up loads for a 375 H&H using the 300 grain Swift A-Frame. I settled on a load of 77 grains of H 4350 in Remington cases and using Fed 215M primers. I got several half inch groups with this load, shoots great.

This is the second 375 H&H I have shot that performed quite well with the 300 grain Swift bullets. The other one shot great with a load using Varget, did not try H 4350 at that time.

If you're going to experiment with Barnes it's gotta be the TSX. That is their flagship ...along with the MR-X.
