Looking good Jim. I'm interested in that Varget load you have going there. My loaded 260 AccuBond stash is getting low and my current load is with RL15 which I haven't seen in years up here. Looks like you should have her dialed in soon.

RL15 is a great powder but I have a very limited supply, no sense chasing accuracy that doesn't seem to be there so I shifted gears.
Varget seems to work well in this rifle and I have 8+ pounds of it. 70.0 grs Varget with the Speer 270 gr SPBT is a good load getting good speed and .5-.6 MOA. At least it proves that the rifle and the nut behind the wheel can shoot.

I've made the same shift. Only have a tiny bit of RL-15 left, but have quite a bit of Varget on hand. The 375 H&H shoots well with Varget too.

I’m pretty pleased with RL 15 in my 375s. Thankfully I bought the last three pounds at my local gun shop before the hoarders got it. Looks like your well dialed in with the Nosler Jim, looking forward to seeing how she does in Africa when you make it there.

I'm calling the 250 gr TTSX a wrap for now but I will revisit it to adjust the COL and close up the group. The numbers do look pretty good though.

JD338, that slightly longer 3.614" cartridge length looks really tight, and the velocity is excellent.

I'm dancing around with the COL trying to tighten them up. My rifle does have some freebore to play with.
I suspect next weekend we will be on safari for some bean fields bandits.

Took the 375 out on a bean field safari and the results were pretty good. Shot two does with the 250 gr TTSX. Both were at 150 yards . Internal damage was evident and the exit wounds were decent. First one was DRT and the second one went about 30 yards leaving a very heavy blood trail.

Strong work right there Jim. I love short tracking jobs. How was the meat damage with those 250's? I was surprised on the small brownie I shot with the 260 AccuBond that I lost almost all the rib meat to bloodshot. The previous animals I took with it meat loss was almost nil.

How did the deer shot last fall with the 270 gr Speer compare with the AccuBond and TTSX for meat damage? @D21ALASKA on bears I never had any issues with the 260 gr AccuBond and lots of damage but anything can happen. Probably just a bit on an anomaly which can happen.

The shoulders were blood shot with the 250 TTSX but less destruction than the 260 AB or the Speer 270 SPBT
