Does anyone have any data for the 375 h&h and rl15. I am going to help a friend start reloading, he has 260 gr partitions with rl 15. This is what they set him up with where he bought his press.
Nosler fifth edition lists a starting load of 69.0 grains and a maximum of 73.0 grains. The techs list this as the most accurate powder tested with that weight of bullet.
69 grains of RL-15 and the 260 gr Nosler AccuBond gave me a gentle shooting, 2620 fps load that is remarkably accurate (sub MOA from my Ruger Number One) and very effective. Took a bear with it, one shot at 306 yards. The rifle was sighted in at 200 yards and it was no problem compensating for the modest drop at 300.
I haven't pushed RL-15 any harder, as I enjoy the relatively mild recoil along with the excellent accuracy. It is a great combination! I freely borrowed that load from both the Nosler manual and from gunwriter John Barsness. It's a winner.
