I like mine too.
It was my second big gun. The single action frame design feels good in the hand under recoil to me. "Let it roll boy." That's what I was taught.

I was surprised by how little recoil I felt. While there is no denying it thunders when you pull the trigger, the design keeps it from overwhelming you. Very comfortable to shoot.

Shoot a 2-1/2 inch Model 29 and then tell me how little recoil you felt! LOL
