Laughin' here. :grin: Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll just keep hunting with my .25-06 & .30-06, they seem to do just fine for me.

That Weatherby was a cool rifle though! I'm so glad Weatherby moved their production to the United States some years ago. Not that there was anything wrong with the Japanese or German built rifles, I just like to see good stuff being made here in the USA!

I keep looking at those Rem Sendero's in 264 cal what a wicked LR shooter. Then I think about the recoil.....Then I start thinking about a 6.5x55.
Then I just grab the 25 Whelen and go hunting....

Wow! :shock: Was doing some Christmas shopping today. Who doesn't go to the sporting goods store to do their Christmas shopping? And there on the rack was a brand spanking new 6.5-300 Wby Mk V Ultra Lightweight.

Felt great. Looked great. Ballistics are impressive as is the accuracy promise.
