6 mm Br Shilen barrel that I am getting ready to mount , should I choose Lapua, Peterson or Alpha brass? Savage Target action if relevant.

Sometimes in the past, availability was the deciding factor for me. Personally, I prefer Lapua and Norma brass. As Jim wrote above, Lapua is never the wrong choice in brass.

Have had three 6br rifles and used Lapua and Norma brass. Both work well. You will get many loading from each brand as the 6br lends itself to long case life.

I have to admit the Norma brass I have been loading in the 22-250 has made a very good impression on me so far.

My personal choice is either Lapua or Peterson. There are those who sing the praises of Alpha , I haven’t tried their brass it.

All great choices. I’m really liking the Peterson brass I bought for our 6.5 Wby RPMs.

I never used Alpha brass. But Lapua and Norma always served me well in a wide variety of cartridges. I like Peterson brass as well, though I've only used it in a couple of cartridges.

Go with which one is available, as said above, they're all top shelf. I love Lapua and have used Norma some for my 257 Weatherby & love it so far. I haven't used Peterson or Alpha but have zero qualms about using them. Buddy is going to use Alpha 6 GT brass and it seems awesome.
